CRUDE OIL SALES FOR APRIL 2010 APPROVED

SANA'A, Feb.08 (Saba) - The Supreme Committee on Crude Oil Marketing
approved on Monday the crude oil sales for April 2010, with a total
quantity of 4.6 million barrels.

The committee approved to sell about 2.1 million barrels of
al-Masila crude produced in Hadramout province for the best offered
price, 91 cent increase per barrel, and 2.3 million barrels of Marib
crude oil for the best offered price, 56 cent increase per barrel.

The quantity of 600.000 barrels out of the 2.3 million barrels
produced in Marib were agreed to be sold in world markets and the
rest to be sold for the Aden Refinery Company for the official price
approved for the next April.

Furthermore, the committee also approved to sell 200 thousand
barrels of crude produced in Shabwa province for the best offered
price, $3.95 decrease per barrel.

The oil production of Shabwa province amounts to 3,000 barrels per
month.
