AL-ARHABI STRESSES MODERNIZATION OF ECONOMIC INSTITUTIONS

SANA'A, Feb.08 (Saba) - Minister of Planning and International
Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi stressed on Monday the
significance of modernizing the economic institutions framework and
implementation of an inclusive industrial survey in 2010.

Chairing a meeting of the supervisory committee on economic
institutions framework modernization, al-Arhabi praised the efforts
being exerted by the Central Statistical Organization (CSO) to
complete the preparations for implementing the inclusive industrial
survey of economic institutions during this year.

The attendants reviewed the evaluation report on results of the
preliminary phase to the economic institutions modernization, the
implementation of the inclusive industrial survey in 2010,and the
progress in implementation of the committee first meeting's
decisions relating to this respect.

Furthermore, they discussed details included in the executive
package of the functions and activities relating to modernization of
the economic institutions framework and implementation of the
inclusive industrial survey in 2010.
