Good nuclear news, Iran posseses laser enrichment technology
Tehran, Feb 7, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's good nuclear news for the Iranian nation on Sunday was that the country possesses laser uranium enrichment technology.
He gave his good nuclear news during the inaugural ceremony of an exhibition of Iran’s latest achievements in the field of laser science which was held on the occasion of the 31st victory anniversary of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.
However, the president stressed that since Iran was currently using the existing system of centrifuges for enriching uranium, it would not use the laser technology.
Hailing relentless efforts of the Iranian scientists and experts, the president said using the laser technology for enriching uranium would lead to carrying out the enrichment process with a higher quality, accuracy and speed.
He stressed that Iranians would never wait for others to make progress./end
