YEMEN, USAID REVIEW ADEN NEEDS FOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS



ADEN, Feb. 07 (Saba) - Yemen and United States Agency for
International Development (USAID) held on Sunday talks on the
developmental needs for Aden governorate.

Undersecretary of Aden governor Ahmed al-Dhilei and USAID team head
reviewed the projects which would be implemented by the USAID in
Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Dalei, Shabwa, Marib, Jawf and Amran in health,
fishery and water sectors.

The undersecretary talked about the needs of Aden governorate for
development projects, particularly in fields of heath, technical and
vocational education through training and rehabilitating cadres
working in these sectors.

He also noted that Aden governorate has program for training the
cadres working in university to be adequate with the need for the
labour market and keep abreast of developments witnessed globally.

In return, USAID official affirmed that the agency is working on
evaluating the needs of Yemen from various projects in order to
provide the necessary support.
