PROGRESS IN PROJECTS OF GULF 20TH IN ADEN REVIEWED

ADEN, Feb.07 (Saba) - A meeting was held here on Saturday to
review several issues relating to the progress in implementation
of the projects of the Gulf 20th Championship to be held in Aden and
Abyan provinces in next November,2010.

Secretary-General of Local Council of Aden province Abdul-Karim
Shaif urged general managers of service offices and representatives
of companies implementing the projects to double their efforts and
accelerate the completion of projects.

During his meeting with officials of those offices and companies,
Shaif indicated their responsibilities in implementation of those
projects before the championship date in or order to prepare well
for it.

He pointed that the Cabinet authorized the local council in the
province to take action to withdraw any project from the defaulting
contractors in the implementation of projects.

Those projects include constricting and rehabilitating a number of
main stadiums and roads projects in the province which will host a
part of the Gulf 20th events.
