CDPF launches program on supporting women to access Parliament

SANA'A, Feb. 06
(Saba)- The Cultural Development Programs Foundation )CDPF) will start three
activities aiming
at supporting women participation in Parliament.
Chairwoman of the CDPF Raufa Hassan indicated on Saturday the importance of the
program to encourage women's political participation in order to increase the
number of women
candidates for parliamentary elections.
Hassan said that the program will include three governorates of Hodeidah, Mahrah
and Hajjah.
This step, which aims at increasing women role in the Parliament and other life
aspects in the country, comes in cooperation with the European Union.
