KHAN BANK FOUNDATION FURBISHES LIBRARY OF MUST

Ulaanbaatar,/MONTSAME/ The Khan Bank, the leader in corporate social responsibility, has furbished the scientific reading room of the central library of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) meeting modern standard requirements. Today, a ceremony for dedicating reading room to lecturers and scientists of the university was held at MUST on the occasion of the Mongolian Teachers' Day.
The 60-seat scientific reading room of choice with an area of 170 sq. m. is available for professors, lecturers, graduate students and senior year students of the university. The reading room, which has 11350 training and research works and 2976 doctoral dissertations, master's theses and abstracts, is distinct from other student reading rooms as it was equipped with Dell monitor, Athena computers, barcode scanner, anti-theft gate and other required equipments by MNT 15 million investment from Khan Bank to provide comfortable environment for professors, lecturers and researchers to do their research.
Central Library of Science and Technology with a total area of 7000 sq. m. has 900 seats and 20 service units. The library has two student reading rooms (each with an area of 467 sq. m and 230 seats), reading room of choice, scientific and periodicals reading room, e-reading room, foreign language training digital room, u-room, online conference room, multimedia studio, online testing room, u-Clus IT environment, Russian centers such a Mining books and World of Russian Language, electronic and paper catalogues, and course book, scientific, research and foreign book lending libraries. In addition to the abovementioned resources, reference, bibliography, and methodology center and student study rooms are available in the central library.
