AUTUMN SESSION ADJOURNS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Parliament's regular autumn session of 2009 closed February 4, 2010. During its period of 91 working days, MPs adopted a total of 104 laws and resolutions, including the 2010 State Budget, Budget Monetary Policy, Law on Human Development Fund, Law on Concession, Basic Guidelines on Privatization of State Properties in 2010-2012 and Property Valuation Law.
"In accordance with the ordinance of parliament Speaker, the MPs accomplished agendas discussed during this autumn session. There were 41 issues proposed from the spring session of the last year that had not been submitted to parliament. Many laws and policy documents that we discussed and resolved may be more significant than 'abandoned' ones because they were essentially needed in that time and situation," said Speaker Demberel in his speech to close the session.
It has been planned to discuss the agenda containing some 30 bills and resolutions during the coming spring session.
