MONGOLIA PREPARES FOR WARMLY WELCOMING SUMO CHAMPION DAGVADORJ

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A working group has been set up Friday to prepare a welcoming ceremony for Grand Sumo Champion Dagvadorj who is returning after officially ending his sumo career.
Yokozuna Asashoryu Dagvadorj of Mongolia announced his retirement Thursday to the Japanese Sumo Association. In connection with this, a press conference was called Friday by his brother D.Serjbudee who is Head of the Asashoryu Foundation. "Asashoruy's retirement is not incitement by the Japanese Sumo Association and the people of Japan, but is the organized action of a group of persons," Serjbudee announced.
"There was a coercion to Asashoryu to retire. But, if the group of people think that their action was organized successfully to stop and squash him, this is a mistake. Even though Asashoryu retired, a number of Mongolian boys will continue to fight in sumo arena," Serjbudee said. Dagvadorj will come back to Mongolia very soon. We have set up a working group to organize a welcoming ceremony for Grand Sumo Champion Asashoryu, he added.
