COOPERATION TO BE DEVELOPED WITH CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ First Deputy Premier N.Altankhuyag introduced to the cabinet members issues of intensifying of comprehensive goverment-civil social organizations partnership and its directions.
In connection with this, related Ministers were ordered to draw up a conception on state policy of ensuring sustainable development of civil society and to discuss it at a cabinet meeting, and to accelerate altering of a new wording of the law on NGOs and other relevant laws, legal documents, and to consider it at cabinet meeting within the second quarter of 2010.
The Ministers were also ordered to set up a civil social council and to issue a draft plan and budget for measures to be taken in 2010 within first of March and to sign a memorandum on cooperation. A meeting between the Prime Minister and delegates of the civil society will be organized as well.
