KHAN BANK'S EMPLOYEES TAKE 3RD PLACE AT INT'L CONTEST

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Khan Bank previously informed that a team from Khan Bank's Treasury Department ranked 3rd among all participants and qualified to participate in the final phase of the Online Assets and Liabilities Management Competition which will be held in Cologne city of Germany from the 20th to the 22nd of January, 2010.
Sponsored by International Development Bank of the Netherlands /FMO/, DEG, a member KfW banking group in Germany that finances investments of private companies in developing and transition economies, the competition is organized by Germany-based Simarch training center.
The team from Khan Bank has ranked 3rd in the final phase of the competition and has reiterated its previous achievement. Khan Bank's success in this globally recognized competition underscored the Bank's standing among banks from developing countries in terms of assets & liabilities management.
The participants of the competition were received by the executives of Development Bank of the Netherlands, DEG, a member KfW banking group from Germany, organizers of the competition. The parties talked about banking and finance developments in developing countries and shared their opinions.
