AZERBAIJAN, USA SIGN AGREEMENT ON EDUCATIONAL COOPERATION
Baku, 21 June, (AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s Minister of Education Misir Mardanov and US Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Goli Ameri signed Thursday in Baku an agreement to boost educational cooperation between the two countries.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mardanov said over 4,000 Azerbaijanis have been
studying in the United States under various programs.
He expressed confidence the agreement will contribute to further enhancing the
educational cooperation between Azerbaijan and the USA.
Goli Ameri said the United States has successfully implemented a number of
educational projects in Azerbaijan, including the Fulbright program.
