Top Pakistani official to visit Iran

Islamabad,Feb 3, IRNA -- A Pakistan parliamentary delegation, headed by Speaker National Assembly, Ms.Fehmida Mirza, will embark on a 6-day visit to Iran on Wednesday (February 03), the Speaker's office said Tuesday.
The 8-member delegation is visiting Iran at the invitation of Speaker of Iranian Majlis-e-Shoora Islami (Parliament), Ali Larijani.
The Delegation, during its stay in Iran, would meet Iranian Spiritual Leader Ayatoullah Ali Khamenei, President of Islamic Republic of Iran, Speaker of the Iranain Majlis and Women Parliamentarian of Majlis.
The Delegation would also visit the Mausoleum of great spiritual leader of Iran Imam Khomeini to pay homage and lay floral wreath. The visit will strengthen bilateral relations between the two fraternal countries and enhance mutual cooperation in all sectors of economy.
The visit will also provide an opportunity to Pakistani women parliamentarians to interact with their Iranian counterparts and exchange views on women related issues.
The delegation will leave from Quaid-e-Azam International Airport Karachi for Iran on Wednesday and will return to Pakistan on 8th February.
The delegation comprises members of the National Assembly, Lower House of the Parliament, Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Syed Javed Hussain, Nadeem Ahmed Gondal, Roshan-ud-Din Junejo, Syed Nasir Ali Shah, Donya Aziz and Ms. Kishwer Zehra./end
