Iran finds clues about assassination of nuclear physicist: minister
TEHRAN, Feb. 2 (MNA) – Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi has said that his ministry has come up with clues over the assassination of nuclear physicist Masoud Ali-Mohammadi.
A combination of Israelis and counter-revolutionaries has been involved in the assassination of Ali-Mohammadi and the Intelligence Ministry has come up with some clues on the issue, he told reporters.
However, Moslehi stated that no one has been arrested yet.
Ali-Mohammadi was assassinated in a bomb attack in northern Tehran on January 13. He had just left his home when a bomb hidden in a motorcycle was detonated.
He was a professor of nuclear physics at the University of Tehran.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said earlier that all indications suggest that the bombing was of a “Zionist kind”.
