Rahim Masha’ie arrives in Switzerland to attend economic fair

Vienna, Feb 2, IRNA – Vice President in Iranian Expatriates Affairs Esfandiar Rahim Masha’ie arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, Monday accompanying some other officials and experts.

Managing Director of the Persian Gulf Marine Township, Seyyed Mohammad Hashemian, speaking about the visit with IRNA correspondent in Vienna, said, “The main objective of the visit is participation at Swiss Economic Exhibition, in which Iran is a special guest.”

Speaking about the exhibition where the Persian Gulf Marine Township project would be unveiled publicly for the first time, he said, “This is a huge national project to be implemented to the northwest side of Iran’s Kish Island and its idea was proposed on the National Persian Gulf Day last year in the presence of President Ahmadinejad.”

Hashemian added, “The unique project has been designed by two Malaysian companies collaborating with some Iranian firms.”

Pointing out that the project is and economic-cultural one, Hashemian said, “The investors in this project are from Austria and Iran.”

Back to the deputy president’s visit of Switzerland, he said that Masha’ie would in this visit meet the Iranians residing in that country as well as some Switzerland investors.

He added, “The visit is aimed at attracting the Iranian and Swiss investors to make investments in Iran.”

Esfandiar Rahim Masha’ie, too, said at a press conference, “The Central Bank of Iran has guaranteed investments in Iran, plus their interests.”/end
