AID FROM CHINA ARRIVES

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ On Monday, six military planes carrying aid materials from China landed on the "Chingis Khaan" international airport. The aid materials went the same day to aimags with worsening overwintering.
The government of People's Republic of China presents CNY 10 million worth non-refundable aid materials to herdsmen, including 43 tons of foods, 1,050 boxes of broiled meat, 3,850 boxes of sausages, 2,500 boxes of ready food, 400 generators, 16 thousand blankets and 500 thousand kg rice.
Present at the ceremony of receiving the aid were M.Enkhbold, a Deputy Premier of Mongolia and head of the State Emergency Commission; Yu Hongyao, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Mongolia, and other officials.
The Deputy Premier said the support is an expression of the bilateral brotherhood and friendly relations. Then he expressed a gratitude to China's people and government and wished the Mongolia-China relations and cooperation to widen.
The Chinese Ambassador expressed his confidence that the aid will contribute to helping herdsmen in overcoming the disaster and in reducing damage. According to him, some aimags of China's Inner Mongolia are also rendering support to Mongolians.
