AID FROM CHINA FOR OVERCOMING DISASTER

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ In accordance with a decision the government of China made, transport planes with some emergency aid materials onboard flew Sunday to Mongolia. As we informed before, the aid is dedicated to overcoming aftermath of the zud in regions and comprises portable generators, warm blankets, rice and food stuff.
On January 26, the Vice Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China Mr Fu Ziying met Ts.Sukhbaatar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to China, to express a regret over the damage caused by the natural disaster.
The Ambassador thanked the Chinese side for the help and underlined that the support from China is the first one rendered after Mongolia's government had addressed the countries and international organizations. "This support is an expression of the bilateral brotherhood and friendly relations," said Sukhabaatar.
Meanwhile, east banner of Alxa aimag of Chinese Inner Mongolia presented 400 tons fodder to Mongolia's Omnogobi aimag. In addition to it, administration of Alxa aimag has decided to send 1,600 tons fodder to Omnogobi within this year.
