Ahmadinejad, cabinet pay tribute to late Imam Khomeini
Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his cabinet paid tribute to the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini.
The president and his cabinet members visited the mausoleum of Late Imam in southern Tehran to renew their allegiance with the ideals of the Islamic revolution.
The event took place on the occasion of the ten-day 'Fajr' celebrations which marks the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran as well as the return of Imam Khomeini to the country on the same day that year.
