Persian anthologies published in India

Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA – Anthologies of two Indian poets of Iranian origin were published by the Persian Researches Center in New Delhi as part of the programs to mark 31st anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

According to a report by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the anthologies belonging to Hakim Sheikh Hossein Shohrat-Shirazi and Aqel Khan Razi-Khafi were printed on the threshold of holding the Fourth Sa’di Award ceremony by Iran’s Cultural Office in New Delhi.

The books will be unveiled in a ceremony marking the 31st victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in New Delhi in February 9.

Shorat-Shirazi, a friend of the noted Indian poet Bidel Dehlavi, lived in the 12th AH.

Razi-Khafi was also a poet respected by Bidel.

Both of the anthologies were revised and edited by Ali Reza Ghazveh, noted Iranian poet./end
