Mottaki arrives in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, Jan 31, IRNA – Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki arrived in Addis Ababa on Saturday evening to attend the 14th summit meeting of African Union.
Iran is attending the meeting as an observer.
The meeting will start its work from Sunday January 31, 2010.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Mottaki is to meet and discuss bilateral ties as well as international and regional issues with a number of senior officials of the union.
The motto of the 14th summit meeting of Africa Union is ' Information technology and communication in Africa, development outlook'.
In the 3-day meeting, presidents and prime ministers of 53 member countries of the union are expected to be present./end
