WORLD TURKISH SPEAKING MPs CONVENE FIRST CONGRESS
Baku 28, January (AzerTAc). The Grand National Assembly of Turkey will convene a first congress of parliamentarians speaking Turkish language from across the world.
According to Ramil Hasanov, Secretary General of Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TurkPA), the aim of the congress, which is expected to be held in May-June, is to develop relations among the Turkish speaking MPs and their parliaments.
“Some parliament speakers will also be invited to the congress.”
The secretary general described the event as a call to friendship among nations.
