PM Bouasone Bouaphavanh leaves for the Republic of Korea
(KPL) - Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and his delegation left here on Monday for an official goodwill visit to the Republic of Korea from 18-21 June.
The visit is in response to the invitation of the Mr. Han Seugn Soo, Prime Minister of DPRK.
The visit is aimed at further strengthening the friendly
relations and co-operation between Laos and the Republic of Korea.
An official farewell ceremony for the PM Bouasone and his entourage was held
at the Prime Minister's Office, which was attended by senior officials from
Laos and the Republic of Korea.
Laos and the Republic of Korea established diplomatic relations in October
1995. Since then many Korean companies have invested in Laos.
