Int’l Fajr Film Festival opens in Golestan
Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – The 28th International Fajr Film Festival opened in Golestan province late Tuesday.
Some top provincial officials, a number of artists, actors/actresses, were present in the opening session of the festival.
The managing director of the Golestan Culture and Islamic Guidance Department said some 81 films have been dispatched to the festival's secretariat from home and abroad of which some of them have been selected to hit the silver screen during the festival.
Golamreza Montazeri said currently the International Fajr Film Festival is running in some provinces across the country, including Tehran and Golesetan.
He further said the festival will be continued in Golestan province until February 6.
Some 20 Iranian and six foreign films will be screened during the ten-day event./end
