VICE SPEAKER MEETS KOREAN AIR LINES LEADERS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Vice Speaker G.Batkhuu received Tuesday authorities of the "Korean Air Lines" Company of the Republic of Korea, in the Government House. Present at the meeting were Mr Lee Jong Hee, a former president of the Korean Air Lines, and Ji Jang Hyu, a new president of the company.
At the beginning of the meeting, Batkhuu mentioned about long-year history of friendly relations between Mongolia and S.Korea, and underlined that the countries have been intensively developing the cooperation in trade, economics and other spheres in the new era. He mentioned that Mongolian has gained achievements in recent years in cooperating with the Republic of Korea in the infrastructure and transportation sectors, and pointed out assistance and support from the Korean Air have contributed significantly to development of Mongolia's air transportation and tourism sector.
After the meeting, the Vice Speaker granted the title of Foremost Worker of Transportation to Mr Lee Jong Hee for his contribution to infrastructure development of Mongolia pursuant to an order of the Minister of Roads, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development.
Lee Jong Hee expressed his satisfaction with receiving the award, and emphasized a contribution of the Vice Speaker to developing the Mongolia-Korea air transportation relations and cooperation and bringing it to a newer level.
