Mauritanian President pays tribute to late Imam Khomeini
Shahr-e Rey, Tehran, Jan 26, IRNA – The visiting Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abd Aziz paid tribute to the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini here on Tuesday.
By attending the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic in southern Tehran, Mauritanian President laid a wreath on his grave.
He also signed the memorial book of the late Imam Khomeini.
Abd Aziz, heading a politico-economic delegation arrived in Tehran Monday morning and was officially welcomed by his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad./end
