HISTORICAL MAPS CONFIRMING AZERBAIJAN TRUTHS FOUND

Baku, 25 January (AzerTAc). Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies Govhar Bakhshaliyeva has found five historical maps in the Egypt`s Dar-ul-Kutub library, which houses a collection of over 15 thousand maps. The maps published in European and Asian countries in the past centuries prove the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and that Armenia was situated well southward of today`s borders. It gives ground to expose Armenia`s deceitful propaganda .
Bakhshaliyeva brought the copies of those maps to Baku and thoroughly scrutinized them. Bakhshaliyeva`s study will be first brought to the notice of Azerbaijani readers and made available to the world community.
