Auckland University seeks co-op with Iranian universities

Isfahan, Jan 25, IRNA -- Vice Chancellor of University of Auckland Christopher Tremewan on Sunday underlined interest in expansion of scientific and technological ties with Iranian universities.

He made the remarks while touring the Isfahan University of Technology.

“Iran’s universities enjoy higher capabilities in the field of nanotechnology and modern sciences which can pave the ground for international cooperation,” he said.

He said that his university favors holding joint courses with Iranian universities.

He called for issuance of more scholarships and facilitated visa processing for the students seeking to continue with studies in postgraduate levels in both countries.

University of Auckland is among the top universities in the world. Some 38,000 students are studying in that university in New Zealand./end
