YEMEN SIGNS AGREEMENT TO FUND EDUCATION
WASHINGTON, 17 June (Saba)- Yemen and World Bank signed on Monday in Washington an agreement of developing secondary and girls education project worth $20 million.
The project intends to support Yemen to improve education standards and improve secondary school teachers skills.
Another agreement was also signed for additional fund for the project of modernizing civil service worth $14 million to support civil service reform and to continue reforms
process.
Yemen ambassador to Washington Abdul-Wahab al-Hijri and World Bank Regional Vice President for Middle East and North Africa Daniela Gressani signed the agreement.
