Mehmanparast condemns Kouchner’s anti-Iran claims
Tehran, Jan 23, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Friday that French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner’s anti-Iran claims are under influence of Zionism.
Strongly condemning the recent “meddlesome and pro-occupiers” claims of Kouchner, Mehmanparast said, “It is crystal clear to all that the main source of threat and occupation is the Zionist regime which with its daily terror, targets innocent people with warm and cold weapons and deprives them of their basic living rights.”
Unfortunately, such injustices have been taken for granted in Kouchner’s pro-Zionist ideology, he said.
“We do not consider such approaches being in favor of Lebanon’s national unity government. Neither do we consider them in favor of the good-will efforts of the friendly countries such as the Islamic Republic of Iran to restore stability and peace in Lebanon.
"We take them as a cover up to the Zionist regime officials’ constant aggressions and threats,” he concluded./end
