‘RUSSIA HAS ALWAYS HAD GREAT INTEREST IN AZERBAIJAN’
Baku, January 22 (AzerTAc). Famous Russian TV presenter Svyatoslav Belza has said his country has always had great interest in Azerbaijan.
Belza, who is in Baku to attend a first Azerbaijan-Russia forum on humanitarian cooperation, said “there is a lot famous Azerbaijanis who greatly contributed to establishing cultural ties with Russia”.
“I consider myself lucky to be friends with such outstanding Azerbaijanis like Muslim Magomayev and Polad Bulbuloglu.”
Belza also expressed hope the forum would bring “our people closer to each other”.
