PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV PLAYED ‘SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN BUILDING CLOSE RELATIONS BETWEEN RUSSIA AND AZERBAIJAN’
Baku, January 22 (AzerTAc). Famous actor and film director Yuli Gusman has praised Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s role in building relations between Russia and Azerbaijan.
“Azerbaijan and Russia enjoy close relationship today, and President Aliyev greatly contributed to this.”
Gusman is in Baku for a first Azerbaijan-Russia forum on humanitarian cooperation kicking off today.
The forum brings together Russian political and cultural figures as well as media representatives.
Gusman expressed hope the forum would bring “our people closer to each other”.
