Vietnam attend 16 th Asian film festival in France
Hanoi (VNA) – Seven Vietnamese documentaries will attend Asian film festival in
Vesoul city of France starting from January 26.
The participating documentaries are “Ban toi” (My friend) by Director Trinh
Le Van, “Chi Dung” ( Ms Dung) by Dao Ba Son, “Chu be cu ly” (Coolie boy)
by Pham Nhue Giang, “Hanoi co cau Long Bien” (Hanoi’s Long Bien bridge) by
Pham Cuong, “Khoc muon” (Hired cry) and “Nguoi o tran” (Bare person) by
Phuong Lan, “Thay Duc” ( Teacher Duc) by Nguyen Trinh Thi.
In the programme “ Human and Nature”, two Vietnamese films are selected to
introduce, namely “Nhung nguoi tho xe” (Sawers) and “Mua len trau” (The
buffalo boy)
The festival is known as the oldest Asian film festival in Europe. It is expected
to end on Feb 2. –Enditem.
