AZERI CHESS GRANDMASTER TO COMPETE IN AMBER TOURNAMENT
Baku, 21 January (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani grandmaster Vugar Hashimov will compete in an international Amber chess tournament due in Nice, France, in March.
The tournament will see participation of famous grandmasters, including Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Vladimir Kramnik (Russia), Levon Aronian (Armenia), Boris Gelfand (Israel), Vassily Ivanchuk (Ukraine), Peter Svidler (Russia), Ruslan Ponomaryov (Ukraine), Alexander Morozevich (Russia), Sergey Karjakin (Ukraine), Lenier Dominguez (Cuba) and Ian Smith (the Netherlands).
