D.IDEVKHTEN MEETS DELEGATION OF NUCLEAR INSTITUTE OF DUBNA

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation D.Idevkhten has received D.V.Kamanin, a deputy secretary of the General Academic Council of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna (JINRD); professors Ye.A.Krasavin and D.Sanagaa.
The Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with meeting with the delegation of the JINRD who wants to deepen the ties and collaboration with Mongolia, and said Mongolia has been participating in the Institute's activities with attaching great importance to the scientific and research works. Mentioning that he is satisfied with a continuation of works of Mongolian famous scholars of all generations in the Institute, Idevkhten said he believes the JINRD will contribute to developing nuclear physics in Mongolia and preparing new scholars and researchers.
In turn, the institute's delegation briefed on rhe institute's activities and goals, and said it plans to participate in a consultation themed "New future of cooperation: From simple physics to nano-technologies" to be co-organized this year in Ulaanbaatar by the United Institute of Nuclear Research (UINR) and Mongolia's Atomic Energy Authority (MAEA). The JINRD requested Mongolia's government to attach an importance to this consultation.
The scholars said the Mongolian researchers have been attending the institute's scientific and projects actions making great efforts since its establishment in 1956. "We are paying an attention to preparing young scholars. We are willing to provide Mongolian young scholars with the institute's intellectual heritage, researches and education. They have an opportunity to study in the University of Dubna and to conduct research works," the scholars stressed.
