CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Wednesday's cabinet meeting considered results of the official visit of parliament Speaker D.Demberel paid December 9-13, 2009, to the Russian Federation. The government ordered Foreign Minister G.Zandanshatar to submit it to the National Security Council (NSC).
The Minister of Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar was allowed to pay a visit to the USA from January 23 to February 2 at invitation of the U.S Department of State. The upcoming visit's directives will be approved by the Premier.
The Defense Minister L.Bold was allowed to attend an international conference themed "International Security" to be held February 5-7 in Munich city, Germany. The Prime Minister will approve the directives for the Defense Minister.
The Minister of Health S.Lambaa introduced to the cabinet a process of granting certificates of free-of-charge health assistance and service to low income citizens. The Minister of Social Welfare and Labor T.Gandi introduced a present situation of the social insurance sector and its measures to be taken in the near future.
The government decided to issue a resolution on scheduling horse-race competitions in 2010 in accordance with the law on national great celebration.
