'Domineering powers start wars under pretext of fighting terror': Iran

TEHRAN, Jan. 20 (MNA) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that the domineering powers start wars under the pretext of fighting terrorism and defending human rights.
There are certain countries that are seeking to gain control of natural resources in the Middle East and are attempting to start wars and conflicts in the region in order to attain their goals, Ahmadinejad said in a meeting with Guyana President Bharrat Jagdeo in Tehran on Wednesday.
But the world situation is changing rapidly, and all countries should prepare for a new order which is based on friendship and brotherhood, he added.
Ahmadinejad also called for the expansion of relations between Iran and Guyana.
The president of Guyana stated that the world would be full of peace and friendship if relations between countries were based on justice.
He also said that the Western powers are seeking to dominate nations through their media propaganda, and it is necessary to counter their efforts.
