Negotiation bears no fruit for Palestinians: Iran

Tehran, Jan 19, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Tuesday that negotiation would not bring anything for the Palestinian nation.

He made the remarks while addressing a seminar on resistance in Gaza held on the occasion of the anniversary of the Zionists' war against Gaza.

Any plan urging Palestinians to compromise with the Zionist regime is to mislead Arabs from restoration of rights of the Palestinians, he added.

Referring to several peace plans proposed in the past decades, Larijani stressed that all those plans have been failed and bore no fruit for the defenseless Palestinian people.

Condemning the performance of Washington and Tel Aviv in presenting compromising plans to the Palestinians, he said there is no way other than resisting against the Zionist regime for the Palestinian nation in order to restore their legitimate rights.

Criticizing the inaction of the Arab World with regards to the Palestinian issues, the speaker called for more serious steps to be taken by the Arab states to that end.

He added that the resistance movement of the Palestinians would be victorious in the near future.
