QUAKE HITS AREA SOUTHWEST OF CILACAP
Bandarlampung, June 16 (ANTARA) - An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale shook an area southwest of Cilacap town in Central Java on Sunday.
The epicenter of the quake which struck at 10.09 p.m. was in the sea about 255 km southwest of Cilacap in a depth of 30 km, the Panjang Maritime Meteorology Station and the Kotabumi Geophysics Station, both in Lampung province, said quoting data from the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) in Jakarta.
