AZERI AMBASSADOR TO INDONESIA MEETS NEWLY APPOINTED ICT MINISTER
Baku, January 18 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Ambassador to Indonesia Ibrahim Hajiyev met with this country`s newly appointed Minister of ICT Tifatul Sembiring.
Mr. Hajiyev handed over a letter of congratulation of Azerbaijani ICT Minister Ali Abbasov to Tifatul Sembiring.
Mr. Hajiyev said numerous ceremonies to commemorate the victims of January 20 tragedy will be held in Azerbaijan and in the foreign countries. Ambassador briefed about Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh and praised Indonesian government`s support of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
Mr. Sembiring praised Azerbaijan`s geo-strategic position and integration into the world community. Minister showed a keen interest in Trans Eurasian Super Information Highway project initiated by Azerbaijan during the 64th session of UN Assembly General.
The sides also discussed the bilateral cooperation in information-communication technologies.
The books on Azerbaijan`s history, culture and tourism, Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh published by the Embassy were presented to the Minister.
