Mottaki: Outcome of New York meeting not announced yet
Tehran, Jan 18, IRNA – Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Iran will comment on the recent meeting of 5+1 only after its conclusion is officially announced.
Talking to IRNA on the sidelines of the 19th International Conference on the Persian Gulf which opened in Tehran today, he said since the outcome of the recent meeting in New York is not officially announced yet, Iran will comment on it only after the results of the meeting are made clear.
Commenting on the visit of Kuwait’s prime minister to Iran, too, the foreign minister described the visit as important and said the two sides explored various avenues of mutual cooperation during the visit.
He further hoped the visit of the Kuwaiti emir, once it takes place, would serve as an important step towards promoting bilateral relations./end
