MOTTAKI EXCHANGES VIEWS WITH VISITING QATARI FINANCE MINISTER
Tehran, June 15 (IRNA) - Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki in a meeting with visiting Qatari Finance Minister called for more bilateral economic ties and said there are plenty of potentials for cooperation between Tehran and Doha.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Youssef Hussein Kamal, who is also acting minister of Economy and Trade and has arrived in Tehran heading an economic and industrial delegation, met and exchanged views with Foreign Minister Mottaki on Saturday.
In the meeting, Mottaki said privatization process in Iran is a
serious and accelerated policy and is a good opportunity for investment.
Referring to the new consulate facilities for businessmen and
industrialists, Mottaki expressed hope that Qatari quota in trade
exchange with Iran increases soon.
Following signed agreements during Qatari PM visit to Iran, Hussein
Kamal expressed his country's readiness for investment in Steel,
Cement, Telecommunication industries as well as infrastructures
installations.
He said a joint committee for supervising the good execution and
implementation of agreements will be established.
