GCC SECRETARY GENERAL TO VISIT YEMEN SOON
RYIDAH, June 15 (Saba)- Yemeni ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mohammed al-Ahwal held talks on Saturday with Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation council (GCC) Abdul Rahman al-Attiyah on aspects of cooperation between Yemen and GCC.
They also dealt with cooperation ties between Yemen and GCC in the light of resolution 107 of the GCC Ministerial Council which was held at the level of foreign ministers on 9th June in Jeddah, particularly with the accession of Yemen to the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting.
Both sides discussed implementation progress of development programs supported by GCC and Gulf funds in the framework of commitments donors' conference held in London.
Informed sources told Saba that Secretary General of GCC Abdul Rahman al-Attiyah will visit to Sana'a during the coming days to discuss aspects of cooperation between Yemen and the GCC countries to complete the accession of Yemen to GCC.
They will also discuss arrangement for opening of GCC technical office in Sana'a to follow up the implementation of development projects process funded by GCC in Yemen.
