MINISTER ATTENDS MEETING TO PROMOTE MEAT EXPORT

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry T.Badamjunai has participated in a meeting themed "Export of Mongolian meat", in frames of his visit to the People's Republic of China.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to China Ts.Sukhbaatar; B.Bat-Erdene, D.Terbishbagva MPs; a deputy head of the Professional Inspection Agency D.Gunibazar; an executive director of Mongolia's Association of Meat M.Lhachinbal; and director of the Institute of Meat Study L.Ganpurev took part in the meeting held Tuesday.
The Mongolians spoke about Mongolia's meat export, quarantine control, and shared views on these issues with some foreign officials.
Representatives of ten Mongolian companies have established ties with China's 50 entities, related officials, diplomats of the Embassies in Beijing from Asian and Middle East countries. The Mongolian side spoke about difficulties in exporting meat and meat products and ways to tackle the problems. An exhibition of Mongolian meat products has been mounted.
These measures contributed to promoting a partnership between Mongolia's enterprisers and China's and foreign entities, propagandizing the meat export of Mongolia and its policy and activities, and to considering and tackling the difficulties.
