Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said that around 705,155 domesticated animals have died nationwide due to bad severe winter. Out of them, 75,525 were big animals (cattle, horse and camel) and 629,630 were small livestock (goat and sheep).
A working group headed by deputy chairman of the NEMA T.Badral has worked In Gobi-Altai province to get au fait with the wintering and to determine a policy to be taken further for overcoming the difficulties. The group headed to Khovd aimag that is experiencing the extreme weather conditions as well.
