AZERI MPs IN BUCHAREST
Baku, January 15 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani parliamentarians Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, Gultakin Hajibayli and Malahat Ibrahimgizi are visiting the Romanian capital of Bucharest.
On the first day of the trip the MPs met members of the Azerbaijan-Romania interparliamentary friendship group and Romanian officials to discuss prospects for strengthening cooperation between two countries` legislative bodies.
Govhar Bakhshaliyeva was awarded a medal of pride of the Romanian Parliament.
The parliamentarians also met representatives of the Azeri and Turkish diasporas, and visited Azerbaijan`s Embassy, office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Romanian-Azerbaijani Friendship Society and Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
