MONGOLIA HARVESTS 391.7 THOUS TONS OF CEREALS

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ As of 2009, Mongolia harvested 391.7 thous.tons cereals, 151.2 thous.tons potatoes, 78.0 thous.tons vegetables and prepared 893.4 thous.tons hay, the National Statistics Commission said.
Compared with the previous year, volume of cereals, potatoes increased 178.8 thous.tons or 84.0 percent, 16.4 thous.tons or 12.2 percent, but volume of vegetables, hay harvest and fodder decreased by 0.6 thous.tons or 0.7 percent, 137.5 thous.tons or 13.3 percent and 11.3 thous.tons or 32.8 percent respectively.
