The play “Monster Slayer”, directed by Mohammad Jahanpa and produced by Amirhossein Shafieie, was performed at the Central Hall of Yazd on February 14, 2026.

This theatrical work, inspired by the story of Vishtaspa in the Shahnameh, narrates a part of Iran's national epics that are rooted in ancient literature and Iranian mythology.

Performed by a cast of over 30 actors, “Monster Slayer” seeks to illustrate ideals of patriotism, sacrifice, and national identity via a vibrant performance and an eye-catching stage design.
