Honor Prizes Awarded to Exemplary Youths and Schoolchildren

 Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il Youth Honour Prize and Kim Jong Il Children Honour Prize were awarded to exemplary primary (sub-primary) youth league committees, officials and members of the youth league and members of the Korean Children's Union on the occasion of the auspicious February holiday, the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
An awarding ceremony took place at the Youth League Hall on February 12. 
According to decrees of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize was conferred on 14 primary (sub-primary) youth league committees and 19 officials and members of the youth league that fully displayed wisdom and enthusiasm of patriotic youth in defending and glorifying the Workers' Party of Korea's idea of the youth movement and leadership exploits and consolidating the youth league organizations and in every theater of socialist construction.
Kim Jong Il Children Honour Prize went to 105 KCU members who have distinguished themselves in the study, organizational life of the KCU, socio-political activities and good-conduct movement to prepare themselves as reliable successors to the future of socialist Korea. -0-
