Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Reply Message from General Secretary of C.C., CPV
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a reply message from To Lam, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on February 3.
The reply message said:
Respected Comrade General Secretary,
I express deep thanks to you for sending me a congratulatory message as regards the continuation of my work as general secretary of the CPV Central Committee under the trust of the 14th Central Committee of the CPV.
The 14th Congress of the CPV achieved very wonderful successes and this has become a historic milestone in the course of accomplishing the innovation cause for the past 40 years.
The Congress provided important cornerstones in the struggle to make Vietnam enter a new era of development with confidence and build a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized and happy country on the basis of breakthrough-like thinking and strategic vision.
The Vietnamese party, state and people always attach importance to promoting the traditional friendly relations with the DPRK.
The political trust, support and cooperative goodwill shown by you and the DPRK for Vietnam in the past have constituted a precious asset in consolidating the relations between the two countries.
I am convinced that the bilateral relations will as ever develop dynamically in a more profound and substantial way with each passing day for the interests of the two peoples and for regional and global peace, stability and development in the future course, thanks to the joint efforts of the two parties and the two countries and warm support by the two peoples.
