Kyrgyzstan receives 86,000 tourists from Tajikistan in 2025

Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan received 86,000 tourists from Tajikistan in 2025 – a 12-fold increase compared to 2024, Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Head of the Presidential Administration said.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, positive dynamics in tourism cooperation were noted during the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-Tajik Intergovernmental Council, which was held in Bishkek. The meeting was chaired by Adylbek Kasymaliev and Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda.

The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in implementing joint Kyrgyz-Tajik tourism projects, including the introduction of a single visa for Central Asian countries for citizens of third countries.
